Unifor Collective Agreement Sault Area Hospital

The Sault Area Hospital (SAH) is located in beautiful Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, is a three-site community hospital and has an annual operating budget of $US 172 million. SAH provides primary, secondary and tertiary hospital services for residents of Sault Ste. Marie and surrounding areas. This position is covered by a collective agreement. Applications outside the bargaining unit are welcome, but can only be considered if the position is not filled within the bargaining unit. DESCRIPTION: Under the general supervision of the manager and pathologist, the assistant pathologist performs a summary examination, description and sampling of surgical samples. The pathologist assistant performs hospital and medico-legal autopsies under the direction of the pathologist. This will be EACOM`s first collective agreement with Unifor, pending Monday`s ratification session.
